Adding Images to a Group
When a wound is large and wraps significantly around a body part (circumferential wound), multiple images can be grouped together to obtain a single data point.
- Login to the eKare Portal
- Locate at least two photos with the same date under the same patient and wound ID
- Navigate to the first wound image you want to group
- Select the thumbnail of the image to enter Gallery View
- Under the 3-dots menu in the upper right corner of the Gallery View, select ‘Group measurements’
- Select the images you want to group together for a single measurement point, then select ‘Save Group’.
Viewing Grouped Images
Once images are grouped together, users can see the individual images/measurements by selecting the 4-square grid in the bottom right corner of the grouped image via Gallery View.
When the 4-square grid is selected, the user will be shown all images in that group and can select images to see individual images/measurements.
Grouped image thumbnails show only the date stamp for the grouped images, without a timestamp:
Ungrouping Images
To ungroup images, navigate to a set of grouped images via Gallery View, then use the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner to ungroup the images.
Grouped Images Data reporting
Grouped measurement data can be exported via the csv formatted report.
If the user selects 'show parts of group measurement' when exporting data, the data will show the cumulative total of the grouped measurements, as well as measurements for the individual images.
If 'show parts of group measurement' is not selected, only the cumulative total for the grouped measurements will be reported.
