Add/Edit Wound IDs

To Add a New Wound ID

If a Wound ID is not present for the wound you want to photograph, patients can create a new wound ID. Once you are logged in to the app on your phone, tap the ‘+’ icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Enter requested data for wound onset date and primary/secondary wound type, as needed. Then tap ‘Next’ and select the location of your wound on the anatomical figure displayed. Then, tap ‘Save’.

To Edit an Existing Wound ID

Tap on the Wound ID that needs to be edited. This will take you to the dashboard for that wound. Tap the menu option in the upper right corner and select ‘Edit wound’. Make the necessary changes, then tap ‘Save’ to complete.

To Edit a Wound Status (Active/Healed/Closed)

Tap on the desired wound. This will take you to the dashboard for that wound. Tap the menu option in the upper right corner and select ‘Change status’ to update the status of the wound.
