Photographs submitted by patients are measured automatically by the system as they are uploaded into the eKare portal. The status of these images indicates what stage of the process they are in:
Processing – images noted with this status were recently submitted by the patient and are being uploaded and automatically measured. This typically takes a few minutes.
Review Pending – images noted with this status have been automatically measured by the system and need to be reviewed by one of the clinicians assigned to the patient within the system.
Revise/Accept - the Clinician reviewer can accept or remeasure the tracing upon review. If the Clinician selects ‘Accept’, the process is complete. If ‘Revise’ is selected, the Clinician completes a remeasurement of the wound, then the process is complete.
Segmentation required – this status indicates a wound that is difficult/impossible for the system to trace automatically. The clinician(s) following the patient should login, review, and generate a tracing, as appropriate.
