The Offline mode allows eKare users to work without a network connection. Users can view all patients in a clinic and see wound’s last measurement photograph and all measurement graphs. They can also add any new data, which will be synced and updated when switching back to online mode.
- To activate offline mode, open the menu in the top left corner of the screen. Then Select "Switch to offline mode". Ensure you have good internet connection when you make the switch as data needs to be downloaded to the device.
- The application will then confirm your selection to download data and switch to offline mode
- The application will then download the measurement data for your patients, and download the latest image for each wound (optional after v.1.8.2).
- While offline mode is activated, the user interface will have an alternate color scheme, and a specific indication that offline mode has been activated will be present. Now you can use inSight without internet connection.
N.B. Offline mode is limited to a total of 50 measurements. A prompt to switch the device to online mode will be displayed on the device as this limit is approached. This is done to ensure the device is responsive and minimize synchronization issues.
